We, the fun@education team, provide children with a child-oriented educational experience framework for needs-oriented playful learning, for carefree interaction and for language and creativity development.
\nWe aim to rethink daycare and make it better, every day!
\nChildren experience appreciation at fun@education.
\nThey have the right to learn in a self-determined and needs-oriented way.
\nWe work situation-oriented and in projects.
\nWe see the children’s areas of interest as their fields of learning and provide them with educational support as they discover, philosophize, explore and understand their environment.
\nWith the aim of intensifying learning experiences for children, we involve children in the design of their learning environments.
\nWe implement the educational program with the following educational areas: (1) health, (2) social and cultural life, (3) communication: languages, written culture and media, (4) art: visual arts, music, drama, (5) mathematics, (6) nature – environment – technology.<\/p>\n

At fun@education, parents have the choice between childcare close to home or close to work.
\nWe offer the ideal location for every family situation.
\nBy establishing a network of locations, we aim to gradually reduce travel times for children and parents.
\nThis promotes quality of life and reduces environmental pollution.<\/p>\n

We live a trusting relationship, mutual openness, friendly cooperation and a regular exchange with you.<\/p>\n<\/div>

A sheltered childhood is essential for the development of a stable personality.<\/strong> “Being protected” as an attitude to life arises from security, acceptance and trust.
\nChildren feel protected when they experience that they can rely on something.
\nThis increases their trust in themselves and their surroundings.
\n“Familiar things give us stability!”.
\nA structured daily routine and rituals that are co-designed by the children convey a feeling of safety, orientation and security.
\nChildren like everyday rituals.
\nInternalized rituals promote independence.
\nProtected and increasingly independent children experience stable personal development.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

Bilingual language support<\/h2> <\/div><\/div>

We organize bilingual language development in German and English in a child-friendly way according to the immersion principle.<\/strong> fun@education employs German and English-speaking teachers.
\nEach teacher speaks only one language with the children.
\nOur educational work is bilingual according to the immersion principle.
\nIn immersion, the foreign language is acquired exclusively according to the principles of mother tongue acquisition.
\nImmersion is considered to be the most successful language learning method worldwide.
\nWe are delighted when our children bring other languages into our daycare experience.
\nWe are currently promoting the acquisition of German and English as well as French in cooperating facilities.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

Creativity<\/h2><\/div><\/div>

Creative skills strengthen children’s self-confidence and promote healthy personal development.<\/strong><\/p>\n

In our educational spaces, children’s curiosity to discover, explore and move is stimulated and their creative engagement with the environment is supported.
\nWe educators see ourselves as learning guides in this creative process.
\nBy actively observing the children, we become aware of their wishes and areas of interest.
\nWe use this knowledge to design participatory projects.
\nWe constantly provide new stimuli to promote creative skills and develop a language culture of appreciation, encouragement, praise and constructive criticism among the children.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

Nutrition<\/h2> <\/div><\/div>

At fun@education, meals are a source of pleasure, healthy and happy enjoyment, learning and experimentation.<\/strong> Thanks to the largely organic quality of the ingredients and the daily fresh preparation by our KiTa chef, meals become a culinary experience.
\nWe offer the children different types of raw fruit and vegetables twice a day.
\nChildren and teachers participate in the design of the food on offer through regular discussions with our chefs.
\nWe know from the feedback we receive from parents and children and from job interviews that the quality of our meals cannot be matched by caterers.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

Promoting physical activity and fair play<\/h2> <\/div><\/div>

At fun@education, movement is designed in such a way that children develop learning skills (e.g. concentration and memory skills) in a targeted manner, their self-satisfaction increases and social skills are strengthened through fair play rules<\/strong> The combination of movement and educational stimulation is of great importance for (early) childhood learning processes.
\nMany learning environments built and designed by children at fun@education include aspects of movement.
\nOne of our central learning objectives in the context of movement (in addition to motor skills, physical coordination and awareness, etc.) is the development of socio-emotional skills such as teamwork, communication\/interaction, assessing one’s own strengths\/weaknesses and the strengths\/weaknesses of others, frustration tolerance, etc. We specifically look for educators who specialize in promoting movement in (early) childhood.
\nBy incorporating these skills and impulses, children shape their learning environments.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

Media literacy<\/h2> <\/div><\/div>

Media education is an indispensable part of early childhood education.
\nOur learning objectives are knowledge of media diversity, media selection experiences for learning tasks defined by children and rules for using digital media. <\/strong> More than ever, media education is an indispensable part of early childhood education.
\nAt fun@education, children learn about the diversity of media.
\nWe support the selection of suitable media for the respective children’s projects\/wishes.
\nWe work with the children to develop rules for using digital media based on the experience of making choices.
\nIn educational projects such as “From cave painting to digitized technology”, children also acquire initial skills in using selected technical media such as laptops\/tablets.
\nAt fun@eduction, we support the children with media didactics and media education activities.
\nThese support the acquisition of media literacy.
\nfun@education makes targeted use of new media in order to develop the skills children need for learning tasks.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>
